Expands bench of industry veterans by adding experienced product and sales leader with proven track record of driving revenue and strong execution

Birmingham, AL, October 26, 2022 – Prepaid Technologies, a pioneer in the rapidly growing digital payments solutions market today, announced that Dave Smith has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer. Smith will play a critical role in building and leading the Prepaid Technologies sales organization while driving stronger alignment between revenue generating teams including sales, marketing, strategic account management and revenue operations.

Smith brings to Prepaid Technologies more than 20 years of experience in financial services and payments solutions. Most recently, he served as Head of Sales, Onboarding, and Relationship Management at U.S. Bank.

“Dave is a highly accomplished, well-recognized leader in sales, product development and relationship management,” said Stephen Faust, CEO Prepaid Technologies. “With his proven track record of innovation, revenue expansion, and successful execution, he makes an excellent addition to our management team to lead the revenue strategy for the diverse suite of payments and engagement solutions we provide.”

Prepaid Technologies has experienced significant growth in the last year. In July, the company announced the acquisition of WorkStride, a leading provider of incentive, employee recognition and rewards programs. The acquisition came after Prepaid Technologies raised $96M in growth financing from Edison Partners in late 2021.

Smith joins other executives who have come on board at Prepaid Technologies in the last year to expand the company’s deep bench of talent, including Matt Frye, Chief Product Officer, and Elizabeth Worrell, SVP Marketing.
