Birmingham, AL: Prepaid Technologies (PT), a leading digital payments provider, has introduced a new cutting-edge technology platform under the PT brand, dash™.  This new platform is the result of a two-year project that positions the company as one of the nation’s leading fintech payment solutions providers.

The project includes a complete ground-up rebuild of two existing technology stacks, PT’s client portal and PT’s cardholder app, as well as restructuring PT’s client facing APIs allowing clients to embed PT’s payment solutions into their own technology.  All systems have a fresh UX design, new robust feature sets and complement their dashSuite of payment products. Today these platforms provide millions of accountholders the tools and technology they need to manage their various accounts.

Stephen Faust, the CEO of PT shared, “The project is groundbreaking for our company as these combined platforms represent the first truly dynamic multiproduct technology stack in market.  The systems identify users upon login and presents custom curated content, brand, and features by product and by assigned attributes.”  Faust continued, “We took a very disciplined approach by listening to our customers, leveraging our existing technology as a foundation, identifying cutting edge enhancements and focusing on outcomes that would delight customers.”  PT engaged CSTMR (www.cstmr.com) out of Austin TX, a leading fintech marketing and design agency to assist in the work as well as complete usability testing.

PT’s President, Steve Fussell mentioned, “With the speed in which technology is moving as well as the demand of digital payments, the timing of the dash platform release could not be more important.” Fussell, who has over 20 years of experience leading payments and technology companies, continued by saying, “This platform continues to bring top of market technology to our customers supporting both digital and card-based transactions but now offers greater usability, simplicity and a more modern and elegant feature set including real-time money movement, contactless and tokenized payments, biometrics and much more.” Some of the other exciting new features include remote check deposit, discounted prescription drugs, cash back rewards programs, early wage access solutions, real-time tip payout and much more. PT acknowledges the importance of technology advancement and is committed to continue to invest in these systems keeping them top of market.

Prepaid Technologies was founded in 1998 by banking industry veterans who understood that technology would shape the future of payments.  Clients work with PT to access solutions for various corporate and consumer payment needs such as payroll and per diems for staff, corporate expense management, employee rewards, consumer promotions, incentives and other various corporate disbursements. The DASH suite of products solves for a complete spectrum of payment needs leveraging a unified technology platform.
